A Bachelor of Arts is all about choice. Choose your major and minor, giving you the flexibility to try a range of areas while you work out your career goals. If you have a broad range of interests, or want to study an area that does not have its own degree (such as a language, geography or drama) a Bachelor of Arts is for you.
- Only a full-time option is available to international students on a Student visa. Online programs are not available to Student visa holders.

- Not all majors/minors and elective options are available at every campus. You should refer to the What Can I Study tab, and the proposed study sequence for your chosen campus and intake for further information.
- * In addition to being able to study all courses at Sippy Downs, students may choose to complete some first year courses from Human Services, Social Science, Psychology or Social Work at Gympie. The remainder of the degree is completed at Sippy Downs.

Select 7 elective courses towards the required 288 units. A maximum of 7 courses may be selected from the School of Business or the Faculty of Science, Health, Education and Engineering.
# Students undertaking the Bachelor of Arts as part of the Bachelor of Arts / Bachelor of Business, Bachelor of Laws / Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Arts / Bachelor of Science are only required to complete 1 minor (48 units) from the majors and minors specified in the Bachelor of Arts.
# Students undertaking the Bachelor of Arts as part of the Bachelor of Education (Secondary) / Bachelor of Arts can complete a minor (48 units) outside those listed above, for example: studies in Teaching Area 2 in Business, Mathematics, Technology or Chemistry, as part of the requirements for the Bachelor of Arts degree.

Program requirements
In order to graduate you must:
- Complete a minimum of 2 majors (8 courses each) or 1 major (8 courses) and 2 minors (4 courses each) from those listed below.
- Complete 7 elective courses.
- Complete no more than 10 introductory level (100 coded) courses, including the core course.
- Complete no more than 7 courses from the School of Business or Faculty of Science, Health, Education and Engineering.
- Register your selected Major and Minor with your Faculty.
Program notes
- Completing this program within the specified (full-time) duration is based on studying 48 unit points per semester (normally 4 courses).
- You may wish to use electives to complete an additional major or minor.
- Courses within this program are assessed using a variety of assessment methods including essays, seminar presentations, reports, in-class tests and examinations. Not all courses will necessarily include all methods.
- As part of your USC program, you may apply to Study Overseas to undertake courses with an overseas higher education provider. It is advisable to contact your Faculty Program Advisor to discuss timing and course issues.
