You’ll specialise with a major that covers human resources, workplace relations, staffing and remuneration, training and development, employment and industrial law, leadership and team dynamics, and managing organisational change.
Choose the Business Internship course as an elective to gain practical experience in the human resources sector to gain valuable industry experience and possibly even impress a potential employer.
The program has the flexibility to enable you to choose from a variety of elective courses to further enhance your management studies. In addition to your management degree, you may opt for studies in management, international business, marketing or tourism, leisure and event management.
This program will position you for a career in recruitment, staff development and training, employment relations and workforce planning. If management positions are in your sights, Human Resource Management graduates are often sought after for their well-developed people skills. A variety of industries are seeking human resource managers including local government, health sector, retail, education and the non-profit sector.

Select 8 elective courses (96 units). Of these electives, 5 (60 units) must also be developing/graduate level (200/300 coded) and a minimum of 2 (24 units) must be from the USC Business School. The remaining 6 (72 units) can be from the undergraduate elective course options.

- Successfully complete 288 units as outlined in the Program Structure
- Complete no more than 10 introductory level (100 coded) courses

- Completing this program within the specified (full-time) duration is based on studying 48 unit points per semester (normally 4 courses) and following the recommended study sequence
- The unit value of all courses is 12 units unless otherwise specified
