Program overview

This is an accelerated program designed specifically for outstanding current Year 12 students—or those returning from a gap year—who completed their Year 12 education in Australia. It allows you to complete both the Bachelor of Science (normally three years duration) and the Bachelor of Science (Honours) (normally one-year duration) in a total of three years.

It enhances the Bachelor of Science through a program individually tailored to your needs by an academic staff mentor. In addition, the Accelerated Honours program introduces you to research in the Bachelor of Science and then extends the research training to a higher level in the Bachelor of Science (Honours).

A Bachelor of Science gives you the flexibility to choose from a wide range of specialisations, allowing you to design a degree to suit your interests and career ambition. You can undertake science-based studies entirely within the Faculty of Science, Health and Education, or incorporate a limited number of courses from the faculties of Arts and Social Sciences, or Business.

Professional membership

Graduates may become members/associate members of various Australian professional bodies depending on their study specialisations.
