Commonwealth Prac Payment

The Commonwealth Prac Payment supports nursing, midwifery, teaching and social work students while they're undertaking mandatory placements.

From July 2025, eligible students will be able to access $319.50 per week while they're undertaking placement. The payment will be means-tested to ensure the support goes to students who need it the most.
