Undergraduate Certificate in Community Services

This program provides a direct pathway to the Diploma in Social and Human Services, Bachelor of Counselling, Bachelor of Human Services, Bachelor of Social Work or Bachelor of Criminology and Justice. On successful completion of the certificate, you will be guaranteed entry and receive 48 units of credit towards your selected pathway degree.

In this program you will:

  • Learn how people think and behave, and how to relate to work in different community organisations
  • Start to build skills and knowledge around the basic understanding of individuals, groups and communities

  • The Undergraduate Certificate in Community Services is an identified pathway into the Diploma in Social and Human Services, Bachelor of Counselling, Bachelor of Human Services, Bachelor of Social Work or Bachelor of Criminology and Justice.
  • Completing this program within the specified (full-time) duration is based on studying 48 unit points per semester (normally 4 courses) and following the recommended study sequence
  • The unit value of all courses is 12 units unless otherwise specified
