This program is for those seeking to develop your research skills to gain entry to research higher degree studies.

This program is for professionals devoted to the development of research skills to gain access to a research higher degree program.

You will love this program if you have a research idea, and you want to upgrade your skills and knowledge in a collaborative environment with other like-minded education researchers. You’ll work under the supervision of USC’s highly trained staff, all with doctoral qualifications in education, to develop your idea into a researchable topic. Develop advanced postgraduate skills in research methods, information literacy, proposal writing and research dissemination ready to succeed in your research higher degree program.

The Graduate Certificate in Education Research is aimed at educators currently working in the field and does not qualify graduates for teacher registration. It does provide innovative knowledge in education research to support your application for research higher degree studies in education. This is an excellent pathway to gain entry into a Master of Education by Research or Doctor of Philosophy in education.
