Program overview
The Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Business (Design and Marketing) gives you the opportunity to combine advanced skills in computer-based design with a major in marketing.
In the marketing portion of the program, you will learn how to design, develop, implement and manage effective marketing strategies, and to analyse buying patterns and market potential. An emphasis on relationship marketing recognises an emerging Australian trend, while a series of business foundation courses build your general business knowledge.
In the design portion of the program, you will have the choice of three streams of study—Graphic Design, e-Media Design or 3D Design. Each provides the creative, conceptual and technical skills for a well-rounded career base. You will also have the opportunity to develop a professional-quality portfolio of work.
You will earn two degrees in a shorter amount of time than if you were to study the programs separately, and will receive two testamurs (degree certificates) on completion.
Professional recognition
This program is accredited by the Australian Market and Social Research Society (AMSRS), of which students are encouraged to become members. Graduates of the program are eligible to apply to receive the AMSRS Certificate in Market Research.
