Program overview

The Graduate Certificate in Nursing (General Practice) is designed specifically for current practice nurses to develop knowledge and skills to practise competently within the changing general practice environment.

In the first phase, students complete three courses (36 units) delivered in partnership with the Australian General Practice Network.  These courses emphasis practice within the general practice environment and are delivered locally involving experienced practice nurses.

In the second phase, students complete an elective course (12 units) online.  Throughout the program students are supported through the program website.
