Program overview

The Bachelor of Arts (Creative Writing) is designed to provide graduates with advanced skills in writing and communications. The program is taught by industry professionals and is ideal for those seeking a career either as an independent writer or in one of the creative industries.

The program explores a variety of styles and genres in creative writing and incorporates at least one production workshop in which you produce a professional-standard creative work. In addition to the creative writing specialisation, you complete courses in communications and have the opportunity to develop knowledge in other areas of interest through a minor from the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.
