Program overview
The Graduate Certificate in Information Systems is designed for graduates in areas other than computing who want to be fully qualified for a career in Information Systems.
As a graduate in other disciplines requiring knowledge and skills in Information Systems, you enhance your career prospects within your own discipline, as well as providing a pathway into the IS industry.
The four-course Graduate Certificate articulates into the eight-course Graduate Diploma in Information Systems. This structure allows you to "stage" your program if necessary, by achieving a recognised qualification and, subject to certain time conditions, returning to upgrade your qualification later.
Admission requirements
Students entering the Graduate Certificate in Information Systems will normally be required to have an undergraduate degree, in disciplines other than information systems and computing, from a recognised higher education institution. Basic computer skills are assumed.

ICT510 Analysis and Project Management
ICT511 Database Design
ICT520 Telecommunications and Networks
ICT521 Java Programming 1
