Program overview

The Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Business (Marketing Communication) offers a balanced mix of theory, analysis and professional skill development for a career in one of the many organisations where advanced communication and marketing skills are required.

In the marketing portion of the program, you will learn how to design, develop, implement and manage effective marketing strategies as well as how to understand people and their buying patterns. Studies in applied research methods enable you to collect accurate information and analyse market potential.

In the communication portion of the program, you will focus on developing advanced skills in public relations as well as choosing from courses that develop skills in creative writing, writing for the web and other aspects of professional communication.

Career opportunities

Knowledge and skills acquired through the Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Business (Marketing Communication) are transferable across many sectors such as government, education, the arts, commerce and industry.
