* The Public Relations Major is limited by a quota and subject to application and interview. Students must apply at the end of their second year. In the case of an unsuccessful application, the Major will be converted from Public Relations to Communication Studies.
Notes
- Electives may be any course from the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences or a maximum of 6 from the faculties of Business or Science.
- Students must complete at least 10 advanced courses in Studies in Art and Design. Students may complete no more than 10 introductory level courses. Prerequisites may apply for some advanced courses.
- Students choosing both INT140 and CMN100 as introductory options will meet the prerequisites for enrolment in CMN235 News Writing as an advanced elective in subsequent semesters.
