Theatre and Performance

Drama student production of Hamlet

In the Theatre and Performance major, you’ll study theatre history, acting, directing and performance leadership, culminating in a fully realised original performance. The major is designed to prepare you to work as a performance maker or educator in the vibrant live performance industry.

Depending on your choice of electives, you can work with a professional director, explore physical theatre, develop your scriptwriting, or undertake an industry placement to build practical skills and valuable industry networks.

This major also builds skills in communication, creative problem solving, critical analysis, teamwork, time management and leadership.
