Program  overview

The Bachelor of Education offers a broad knowledge-base for those interested in careers in training or teaching in private industry, or in education consultancy.

Unlike the combined degrees of a Bachelor of Education with a Bachelor of Arts, Business or Science, this program does not accredit graduates for teacher registration.

It may, however, be considered a prerequisite program for entry to an accredited teacher education program. The Bachelor of Education also provides professional development for teachers, trainers and educators who are already accredited with a teacher registration authority.

There are two pathways and two entry points into the program—please see the program structure for more information.
