Student Handbook, Semester 1, 2009: Bachelor of Science (Honours) Accelerated - commencing Semester 2

Recommended enrolment pattern for students commencing Semester 2, 2009

  • This full-time enrolment pattern is designed to comply with program requirements.
  • Students with advanced standing from prior tertiary study should consult the program adviser for recommended enrolment.
  • This accelerated pathway is designed for students with a record of very high achievement and is contingent upon the program coordinator and the industry partner approving enrolment in WPL330
  • The Honours program provides the opportunity to undertake a research project and is excellent preparation to continue onto postgraduate research
  • Students are only admitted into the Honours year upon successful completion of the Bachelor of Science, or a related degree, with at least eight courses in the area of study of your thesis topic. A credit (5) GPA grade must have been achieved. These are minimum requirements and do not guarantee entry.
  • Importantly, enrolment is contingent upon the Faculty’s capacity to provide appropriate supervision.
  • Course offerings may change without notice
