Program Overview

The Bachelor of Business develops skills applicable to many areas of employment and provides you with a general education on which to build a lifetime career. Our Business degree has eight specialist areas from which you can choose:

  • Accounting
  • Financial Planning
  • Human Resource Management
  • International Business
  • Information Systems
  • Marketing
  • Management
  • Tourism

You can also complement your business studies by studying up to four courses in other faculties, for example, you can study languages, business communication, computer-based art and design, or ecosystem management.

Students can apply to undertake first-year courses in this program at the USC Noosa Centre. Please note that the option to study at Noosa is not available to international students.

Professional Membership
Students and graduates may become members/associate members of various Australian professional bodies depending on their study specialisations.

Career Opportunities

Knowledge and skills acquired through the Bachelor of Business are transferable across many sectors such as government, education, the arts, commerce, and industry. Depending on the major and minors chosen, opportunities may include accounting, advertising, auditing, banking and finance, computing, customer service, hotel management, human resource management, importing/exporting, industrial relations, management, marketing, politics, retail and sales, systems analysis, taxation and tourism.

12 x Business Courses which may comprise one course major and one course minor OR 3 course minors OR a generalised selection.

Course Substitution: The GO (Global Opportunities) Program

As part of their USC program, students may apply to participate in the GO Program to undertake courses with an overseas higher education provider
