Student Handbook, Semester 1, 2006: Community Services

The following qualifications provide credit into the Bachelor of Social Science (Community Work). Students may also be eligible for credit towards other degree programs.

TAFE Certificate IV in Community Services or Youth Work or Disability graduates receive credit for:

  • 2 Introductory Arts and Social Science Electives
  • 1 Introductory Social and Community Studies Course
  • 1 Advanced Social and Community Studies Course

TAFE Diploma of Community Services (Aged Care Work, Youth Work, Community Work) graduates receive credit for:

  • 2 Introductory Arts and Social Science Electives
  • 2 Advanced Arts and Social Science Electives
  • 2 Advanced level Social and Community Studies Courses
  • SCS270 Applications in Social and Community Work
  • SCS261 Community Work Practice
