Internship Courses

An internship course is an elective course that is usually undertaken in first or second semester of the third year. This course provides students with a structured and supervised vocational experience, where they have the opportunity to experience first hand the reality of the workplace situation. This experience will:

  • help to demonstrate the students' suitability for employment in a specific area
  • afford students an opportunity to experience, analyse and evaluate the professional environments
  • develop competencies that are necessary to assume professional responsibilities, and
  • enhance an understanding of career opportunities.
