The University of the Sunshine Coast will host its first special information event of the year on Thursday 18 January for potential students weighing up their study options.
The free Meet USC–Options sessions will be held at the University’s campuses on the Sunshine Coast (2-5pm) and Fraser Coast (2-4pm) for anyone thinking about studying at USC in 2018.
For those who might need help in choosing the right degree or finding an alternative pathway to university study, these events provide an opportunity to drop in and chat face-to-face with USC staff.
This week, USC was named as one of the top universities in Australia for providing graduates with skills that employers need, ranking third out of 41 universities for the ‘overall satisfaction’ of employers.
The Meet USC–Options events will include campus tours, presentations about what to expect as a student, and advice about alternative study pathways or changing preferences.
Visitors to the Sunshine Coast campus can also tour the massive CAVE2TM — a 320-degree, immersive environment that combines visualisation and simulation techniques for learning and teaching.
On the same day, students who have already accepted an offer from USC can attend a ‘Getting Started’ session to find out more about enrolling, viewing timetables and accessing student systems.
