Event honours new USC Gympie graduates

New USC Gympie graduates have shared advice and encouragement with current students when they returned to the campus for a special recognition ceremony.

Today's ceremony to formally recognise the third cohort of students to graduate from USC Gympie included a joint Faculty lunch for students, hosted by USC’s Executive Deans Professor Joanne Scott and Professor John Bartlett. It was attended by Gympie Mayor Mick Curran and USC Senior Deputy Vice-Chancellor Professor Birgit Lohmann.

The combined event was designed to provide graduates and students with the opportunity to re-connect, and provide inspiration for students as they approach the end of the academic year.

Commerce graduates Jodie Tydings from Gympie and Leanne North from Gunalda were among about 400 students to graduate from USC at official ceremonies on the Sunshine Coast last month.
