Intelligent Sensors, Circuits and Systems

Realising practical, integrated solutions for emerging technology value chains

The Intelligent Sensors, Circuits & Systems (ISCAS) cluster leverages the strengths of researchers to realise real-world solutions in technology.

The ISCAS cluster works collaboratively with industry as well as other parts of UniSC, including established university research institutes and cluster groups. Activities undertaken cover both research collaborations with current links, such as Bionics QLD, QDSA and ARM Hub, as well as creating new collaborations with other universities and industry.

The cluster aims to broaden and deepen regional and international engagement with intelligent sensors, circuits and systems to improve research outcomes and visibility. The research activities and outputs for the cluster will be important for future research exercises and evaluations, and serve as a demonstration showcase for UniSC program accreditation activities.

Cluster lead: Professor Li-minn Ang

Our aim

To realise practical integrated real-world solutions for technology value chains, targeting projects and collaborations in digital economy research.
About the Coastal Ecosystem Management research cluster

The ISCAS cluster exists to concentrate research targeting the areas of Electronics, Sensors and Digital Systems. The aim is to demonstrate a world-class capability for UniSC, increase the visibility and impact of the researchers in the School and showcase their expertise to other research groups, industries and communities in the region, and internationally.
