Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Aircraft Maintenance)

Maintain the aircraft of tomorrow. Aircraft maintenance engineers maintain, design and implement repairs for the aircraft that we rely on. This program develops the essential practical skills and qualify you to work as an aircraft maintenance engineer around the world.
One-of-a-kind program

The Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Aircraft Maintenance) is a one-of-a-kind program that combines both vocational and degree studies. The vocational element is delivered in partnership with Aviation Australia, Australia's key provider of aviation training.

Become a licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer 

Upon completion and with two years of working in an approved Part 145 Aircraft maintenance and repair organisation (AMO/MRO) you will be eligible to apply for a full aircraft maintenance licence.

This leads to becoming a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) after which you can complete aircraft type training on various aircraft types.

In this program you will:
  • Develop technical skills in the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) approved aircraft maintenance training facility of Aviation Australia
  • Study courses with embedded EASA part 66 learning materials
  • Develop your critical thinking, reporting and analysis skills
  • Graduate with an EASA Certificate of Recognition (COR) on Basic Category B1.1 (Part 66)
  • Graduate with an engineering technologist qualification
