Antoinette Sweeney attended Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in Brisbane in 1992 and graduated a Bachelor of Applied Science in Medical Radiation Technology in 1995. After working clinically in private
practice, Antoinette moved to the UK to work in both the public and private sectors. Antoinette specialised to primarily MRI scanning in 2003, before returning to Australia in 2006 and gaining her ASMIRT MRI level one
accreditation. Antoinette became interested in dedicated medical research scanning in 2019 prior to joining
the Thompson Institute.
