*Not offered until Semester 1, 2027. This course will equip students to assess and treat clients with cardiorespiratory disorders in safe, effective, and evidence-based manner within acute care, rehabilitation, and community contexts. Students will learn how to comprehensively assess cardiorespiratory function and interpret clinical findings, including medical imaging, electrocardiograms, and other relevant tests. Students will also be able to plan, justify and apply treatments to assist clients to improve or maintain their cardiorespiratory function, exercise tolerance and capacity, and optimise their quality of life.
