Shaun McDonagh

With a background in private sector, public sector and NFP marketing, strategy and business development roles, Shaun’s experience also includes working with all levels of government, national and international clients across senior executive roles with the University of Queensland, Southern Cross University, University of New England, Australian Catholic University, TAFE Victoria and TAFE Queensland.

Following undergraduate business and law, Shaun earned postgraduate qualifications in adult education and training, a Masters of Marketing Management and a Masters of Commercial Law, (Vice-Chancellor’s Award for Academic Excellence). Shaun also completed the Executive Development Program at Kellogg School of Management – Northwestern University in Chicago.

A former Judge of the Australian Marketing Institute - Excellence Awards and Chair of the Universities Australia - Marketing, Communications and Development Conference, Shaun has been an invited conference speaker for the American Marketing Association and the UK Chartered Institute of Marketing.

Shaun has held Chief Executive Office, Executive Director and Non-Executive Director roles across Australia. His industry experience includes education, training, media, property, financial services, disability services and health. He has broad experience with advocacy and stakeholder engagement including extensive work on the NDIS. He has 13-years Non-Executive Director experience including with disability, employment services, health, financial services, training and community services.

A Fellow of the Australian Marketing Institute, Certified Practising Marketer, Golden Key International Honour Society and Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Shaun has enjoyed tertiary teaching in business, marketing, law and governance with Australian and international institutions including three years with USC Southbank.
