Graduate Diploma in Education (Secondary) - Teaching area entry requirements

Self-assess your teaching areas

The self-assessment tool is available for you to assess your teaching areas prior to submitting your application through QTAC for formal assessment.

Applicants must satisfy the discipline study requirements of at least:

  • six curriculum specific courses (one-quarter of a degree) in a nominated first teaching area
  • four curriculum specific courses (one-sixth of a degree) in a nominated second teaching area.

A maximum of two introductory level courses can be counted towards a teaching area.
