The University offers enabling courses to assist students in:

• Chemistry
• General Mathematics
• Mathematics for Physics
• Statistics

Students who wish to strengthen their backgrounds in Chemistry and Mathematics are encouraged to enrol.

The cost for enabling courses is:

• free of charge for Commonwealth supported students.
• free of charge for Australian and New Zealand citizens and holders of a permanent resident visa enrolled on a fee-paying basis
• A$1185 per course for students on an international student visa

Enabling courses:

• do not count towards the completion of an undergraduate program
• do not affect your Student Learning Entitlement (SLE)
• are only available to students enrolled in an undergraduate degree
  program

Students enrol in enabling courses using SOLAR (Student Online Access and Registration).
